Doggy Parks
Dog Parks - Long Beach has 5 Dog Parks and one of them is bound to be near you. All parks go by the basic rules. Keep your dog under control, pick up after it, if its a danger to others leave it at home, your dog has to have all of its shots and you need to leash your dog until you enter the parks. Beach Dog Zone
Location: Ocean Blvd., between Roycroft and Argonne
Size: 2.9 acres
Hours: 6am-8pm every day.
The Dog Zone along Ocean Blvd between Roycroft and Argonne Avenues.
This area is NOT fenced in and is not a dog beach only.

Downtown Dog Park
Location: Broadway and Pacific Avenue
Hours: Dawn to dusk, every day.
Located downtown at Lincoln Park at Broadway and Pacific. The offer
spaces for both large and small dogs, they do have benches.

K-9 Corner Dog Park
Location: 9th Street and Pacific Avenue
Size: 0.8 acres
Hours: 6am - 10pm every day.
Located in the North Pine Avenue area of Long Beach. Water for
humans and dogs, there is seating, and evening lighting. They offer
separate areas for large and small dogs.
Uptown Dog Park
Location: 4600 Long Beach Boulevard, on the West side of Scherer
Park.
Hours: Dawn to Dusk, every day.
The Uptown Dog Park is on the Long Beach Blvd. side of Scherer Park,
4600 Long Beach Blvd. The dog area is near picnic tables and a
nearby parking lot. Uptown Dog Park also offers separate areas for
small and large dogs to play off leash. It is fenced.
Recreation Dog Park
Location: 5201 E. 7th Street
Size: 2.0 acres
Hours: 6am - 10pm every day.
Park may be closed Mondays before noon for maintenance.
This was the City’s first dog park located at Recreation Park, 5201
E. 7th Street. It is in an area near the 18-hole golf course and
north of the Fly Casting Pond. The park has watering stations, and
benches and tables throughout.
